Previously, Fujifilm had an email management service that was so complex that no-one in the marketing team quite understood how it worked, bar the one person whose job it was to manage. Unfortunately, that staff member abruptly left the organisation.
Just prior to this, Fujifilm Australia made the move across to the Lyris HQ Platform for their email campaigns, so it was just up and running when the change of staff occurred.
“The Lyris HQ platform is one all staff members in the team can understand,” says senior product manager, Fujifilm Australia, Belinda Sims.
So that, despite losing their email guru, they had an easier email service in place enabling them to pick up their colleague’s work without a hitch. The email campaigns went out smoothly and no extra costs were incurred.
“Before we used to get a whole lot of data, but it was difficult to work out what it meant. Now with Lyris we have more of an understanding of our data, knowing which contacts are our customers and which of contacts are on our subscription list and more,” says Belinda.
“This system is far more user-friendly and cost effective.”
Integration into the business
The move to Zalus Digital brought with it full automation of Fujifilm’s email marketing processes. Fujifilm is happy that now there’s no manual intervention involved, greatly improving efficiency and eliminating the risk of human error. They are currently working closely with Zalus Digital to completely automate their business processes.
